The Retail Support Specialist plays a vital role in assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in driving sales, enhancing customer service, maintaining store appearance, and improving store operations. This role also entails taking on shift management responsibilities when the Assistant or Store Manager is unavailable. Key Responsibilities: Lead team members in delivering top-notch customer service to both retail and professional customers. Oversee customer service quality in the retail showroom, ensuring team execution of various customer service initiatives. Manage communication protocols, including timely answering of phone calls per company policy. Process buy online/ship to store orders, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders efficiently, notifying customers promptly upon shipment arrival. Manage special orders and outside purchases by maintaining electronic purchase order accuracy. Facilitate retail customer returns and exchanges while ensuring a streamlined and welcoming process. Ensure accurate invoicing of all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, prior to product departure. Communicate Zipline messages effectively and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks to the team. Monitor adherence to the posted work schedule and ensure management approval for any changes or deviations. Carry out all store opening and closing duties, such as managing financial operations, securing the location, and ensuring the safety of delivery vehicles. Perform any additional duties as assigned to support store operations. Qualifications: Required: Strong communication skills and the ability to obtain RSS Certification. Desired: Prior retail sales experience, especially in auto parts, automotive systems knowledge, and ASE Certification.
