This role plays a crucial part in the success of our retail operations. As a Retail Store Representative, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs and provide answers regarding Sherwin-Williams products, recommending appropriate solutions. You will be responsible for addressing customer concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction, and staying informed about product features while maintaining the aesthetic and quality standards of our store. Located at: 1290 S Southwest Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75701, this part-time position involves regular customer interaction, which may include minors, as well as access to cash, payment methods, and store merchandise. Assist customers in person and over the phone, assessing their needs and suggesting suitable products and services. Build trustful relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies. Work towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintain organized work files and accurate product formulas. Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed. Mix and tint products according to customer specifications. Restock shelves and arrange product displays. Ensure cleanliness of store equipment and assist with deliveries as required. Keep assigned areas well-stocked and visually appealing. Remain knowledgeable about available products and their advantages. Adhere to inventory control procedures and suggest improvements for sales. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Authorized to work in the country without sponsorship. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: A valid, unrestricted driver's license. A high school diploma or GED. At least one year of experience in retail or customer service. Experience with paint and related products is a plus. Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
