Position Overview This role is essential in creating a safe shopping experience for our customers and associates. As a visible presence at the store entrances/exits, you will help mitigate theft and maintain overall security. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe and secure environment for all by practicing safety protocols. Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers with a smile and making eye contact. Monitor store activities and sales floor for potential theft indicators. Assist Store Leadership in minimizing operational shortage and ensuring compliance with loss prevention directives. Conduct inspections of packages as per the Code 50 policy. Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent; AA degree preferred. Previous retail supervisory or loss prevention experience is a plus. Strong communication and customer service skills. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and resolving conflicts effectively. Must meet all security position qualifications, including background checks and drug testing. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for the entirety of the shift. Must be able to lift objects exceeding 25 lbs and perform regular bending and stooping.
