We are looking for a Store Manager for Stitched & Stuff in the Planet 13 Entertainment Complex 

Summary
The Retail Store Manager is responsible for leading a team of front-line employees within the Stitched and Stuff Retail location. The Retail Manager will need to anticipate potential customer issues; apply contingency planning to avoid customer dissatisfaction. Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Organize, manage, and assist in weekly/monthly physical inventory counts within the facility.
  • Complete inventory procedure using electronic tracking system and respond to any discrepancies by notifying the location’s management and investigating reasons for the discrepancy.
  • Conduct daily audit of stores inventory, identifying top selling items as well as underperforming items.
  • Coordinate with the management team to discuss inventory management plans and methods to reduce errors and maximize inventory efficiency.
  • Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies, and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved.
  • Responsible for settling all inventory discrepancies and reporting resolutions to the Director of Retail monthly.
  • Manage inventory models to ensure appropriate product distribution.
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory records in the POS system.
  • Arrange and schedule regular training for inventory team members, conducting on-the-job training as necessary to maintain proficiency.
  • Practice effective cost control procedures for all operating, maintenance, and supply costs.
  • Assist with proper merchandising execution to maximize sales, earnings, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing floor standards, visual merchandising, customer service standards, and sales techniques.
  • Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company guidelines.
  • Write and maintain accurate written procedures for all main inventory control processes.
  • Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved.
  • Developing relationships with vendors to coordinate in store pop ups.
  • Creating discounts and sales to help expand the potential revenue within the store.
  • Maintaining updated records of business licenses,
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.                                                                                                                   
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.                                                                                                                                
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.



Supervisory Responsibilities 
Manages a total of 2-4+ employees in the Stitch and Stuff Department. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.  Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must be 21 years of age or older.
NV State Agent Card Required.
