Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Store Operations:

    • Oversee daily store activities, ensuring all systems, including technologies, function efficiently.
    • Monitor and maintain technology solutions such as RFID scanners, mobile POS systems, and app-based checkout platforms.
    • Manage inventory using automated systems to ensure accurate stock levels.

  2. Customer Experience:

    • Champion a seamless shopping journey by addressing customer feedback and resolving issues swiftly.
    • Train staff to assist with digital tools and troubleshoot technology for customers when needed.
    • Analyze customer behavior data to refine and personalize the shopping experience.
  3. Team Leadership:

    • Recruit, train, and manage a team focused on tech-enabled retail operations.
    • Promote a customer-first mindset while maintaining operational efficiency.
    • Lead by example, embodying a passion for innovation and customer satisfaction.
  4. Sales and Performance:

    • Drive sales and profitability by leveraging data insights from technology platforms.
    • Optimize store layout and displays for a frictionless shopping flow.
    • Set and monitor KPIs, including tech adoption rates, transaction times, and customer satisfaction scores.
  5. Compliance and Safety:

    • Ensure all digital systems comply with data privacy regulations.
    • Maintain a secure and safe environment for customers and employees.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in retail management, with exposure to technology-enabled environments.
  • Strong understanding of frictionless retail technologies (e.g., cashierless systems, mobile apps, AI-powered tools).
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in retail analytics software and data interpretation.
  • Customer-oriented with a track record of improving the shopping experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience implementing or managing cashierless checkout systems (e.g., Amazon Go-style technologies).
  • Familiarity with IoT devices, RFID, and payment processing platforms.
  • Background in data-driven decision-making.
