Retail Store Janitorial Associate

The Janitor's primary responsibility is to maintain a clean and well-represented work and guest environment. The upkeep of the showroom, bathrooms, offices, parking lot, and warehouse is a vital part of daily duties and a crucial ingredient in giving every guest an experience consistent with the Airport brand.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complete and effectively execute all company training modules including onboarding, department safety, vendor/product, and sales training Ensure a daily walk-through of the entire store is completed and address any areas of concern Partner with other Team members, including ROM and Store Managers, to ensure the showroom floor meets Airport brand guidelines Greet and engage all guests throughout the retail store Run the floor scrubber and vacuums daily to ensure all tile floors and carpet areas are clean Ensure all areas are dusted, wiped down, and cleaned daily Clean and sanitize bathrooms, breakrooms, and common touch areas throughout the store Keep maintenance records on all equipment used Maintain a weekly stock check on all supply inventories Support a culture throughout the store that drives positive company outcomes Ability to work weekends and most holidays Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to move and relocate appliances Experience using hand trucks to load products into customer vehicles Merchandise digital tags and label products

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1 year of retail experience in a custodial or janitorial role is preferred. Commercial facilities and building janitorial work experience desired. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
