As a Retail Store Associate at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service to both wholesale and retail clients. Located at Store #3385, 495A Elden St, Herndon, VA 20170, this role may also require travel to nearby stores within a 5-mile radius. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: Providing exceptional sales service to ensure high customer satisfaction. Understanding customer needs in person and via phone, presenting suitable products and services. Building trustful relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Accurately processing sales transactions in line with company policies. Achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintaining organized work order files and customer specifications. Assisting in pulling products from stock and preparing orders. Tinting and mixing products to meet customer requirements. Restocking shelves and arranging product displays. Cleaning store equipment and maintaining a tidy environment. Loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed. Keeping assigned areas in excellent condition and well-stocked. Staying knowledgeable about the range of products available. Adhering to inventory control procedures. Providing suggestions for improving sales. What We Seek: A minimum age of eighteen (18) years. Legal authorization to work in the country without needing sponsorship. Strong English language skills, both written and spoken. Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish. Capacity to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally. Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Internal candidates must meet performance appraisal standards and complete required eLearning courses. Preferred Qualities: Valid, unrestricted Driver's License. High School diploma or GED. One (1) year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service. Experience in selling paint and related products. Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment operation.
