This position is crucial to the success of our retail operations. As a Retail Store Associate, you will engage closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, address their inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. Your role will also involve promptly resolving customer concerns and ensuring maximum client satisfaction while maintaining product quality and visual standards in the store. The selected individual will work at Store #8002, located at: 12731 NE 124th St, Kirkland, WA 98034. This is a part-time position with a starting rate of $22.00 per hour. Assist customers in person and over the phone, identifying their needs and presenting appropriate products and services. Build productive trust-based relationships with both wholesale and retail customers. Accurately process sales transactions in alignment with company policies. Work towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintain organized work order files and formulas. Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed. Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications. Stock shelves and create appealing product displays. Clean store equipment as required. Load and unload delivery trucks. Help with deliveries when needed. Ensure assigned areas are well-stocked and visually appealing. Stay informed about product offerings and provide detailed information to customers. Adhere to inventory control methods. Propose strategies to enhance sales. Minimum Requirements: At least eighteen (18) years of age. Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for a work visa. A valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion. Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. One (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service setting. Experience selling paint and paint-related products. Experience with tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language. Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in Spanish.
