At Publix, where shopping and working is a pleasure, your role will be instrumental in creating inviting spaces that reflect our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include: Independently scheduling, coordinating, and providing oversight and guidance to ensure safe, timely, high-quality delivery and installation of all fixtures and equipment in multiple simultaneous retail construction projects including new stores, remodels, and special projects. Independently managing and coordinating multiple simultaneous paint and dcor projects in existing stores, ensuring projects are started and completed on schedule and executed according to plans and specifications. Inspecting and directing execution of dcor and signage installations in multiple new stores, remodels, and special projects, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications. Determining what cabinetry and millwork is required by plans and specifications and what additional cabinetry and fixtures may be needed for the most functional use of the retail space. Salary - 45 hours per week. Facility: Store 1780 Newman's Crossing. State: Tennessee. Frequency of Pay: Weekly. Travel Frequency: 90%. Minimum Base Pay: 1,385. Maximum Base Pay: 1,905. Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in a construction-related course of study or equivalent level of documented construction experience. 3 years of experience in retail set up/ or general construction. Knowledge of construction drawings and installation manuals. Knowledge of basic math principles. Analytical skills. Self-Initiative Skills. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Interpersonal skills (including conflict resolution and management). Ability to facilitate meetings. Ability to organize tasks and information. Knowledge of computer applications (Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat). Willingness to travel to stores throughout the retail division, including overnight stays as required. Willingness to work nights and weekends when required. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a construction-related course of study or equivalent level of documented construction experience. 5 years of experience in retail setup and/or general construction. Knowledge of the standard building code and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Knowledge of millwork installation.
