Insight Global is seeking Retail Sales Associates to work for an outdoor-based company specializing in apparel and gear for fishing, hunting, surfing, and other outdoor activities in Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities: Customer Service: Welcome customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on your understanding of fishing, hunting, and surfing. Sales: Engage with customers to promote and sell the products. Utilize your background in outdoor activities to relate to the products and enhance the customer experience. Cash Wrap: Efficiently handle transactions at the cash register, ensuring accuracy and providing excellent service. Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing. Ensure that displays are well-stocked and merchandise is properly arranged. Stocking & Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and process new inventory shipments. Restock shelves and maintain optimal inventory levels throughout the store. Monitor stockroom organization and ensure products are stored safely and efficiently. Assist with inventory counts and help identify discrepancies or low-stock items. Collaborate with management to support inventory planning and replenishment strategies. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest products and trends in outdoor apparel and gear. Share this knowledge with customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions.

Schedule & Hours: This is a part-time position , averaging 10–15 hours per week . Weekend and holiday availability is required , with a focus on supporting increased customer traffic during the holiday season (October through January) . Flexibility to work peak retail hours and assist with seasonal inventory needs is highly valued.

Qualifications: Previous retail experience with a passion for outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, and surfing. Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions. Strong organizational skills, especially in managing inventory and maintaining store order.
