Duties and responsibilities

•Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources such as sleep clinics, orthopedic practices, primary care physicians, assisted living facilities, and hospitals.

•Identify and pursue referral partnerships with non-clinical sources like hotels, concierge services, or rehabilitation centers for rental and purchase opportunities.

•Educate referral partners on the products and services offered through Williams At Home, with emphasis on CPAP equipment, compression wear, mobility aids, and specialty medical products.

•Coordinate and execute scheduled in-person visits to referral sources weekly, with a goal of 35-40 in-person touches. Visits should focus on both establishing new relationships and maintaining existing ones with clinics, provider offices, and key community partners.

•Deliver educational materials (e.g., brochures, business cards, referral pads) and ensure replenishment during regular visits.

•Plan and execute 1-2 provider-facing events per week, such as breakfasts, lunches, or in-service presentations, to deepen relationships and promote product awareness.

•Document all outreach activities in CRM or designated tracking tools, ensuring accurate, timely follow-up and referral pipeline management.

•Collaborate with in-store staff to ensure seamless coordination between provider referrals and in-store fulfillment.

•Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to leadership about competitive activity, unmet needs, or opportunities for new referral channels.

•Assist with light in-store duties during downtime or as needed, such as stocking shelves, fulfilling walk-in orders, or answering product-related inquiries.

•Meet or exceed monthly referral and revenue goals established for the retail location.

•Complete required training annually, including product knowledge, HIPAA compliance, and company policies.

•All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications include:
  1. 5+ years of prior sales experience required
  2. 5+ years of prior Medical Device or Pharmacology experience required
  3. Prior sales experience with neurology, pediatric, and family practices preferred
  4. Clean driving record required
  5. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
  6. Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel as deemed necessary.
  8. Must carry personal liability car insurance with a minimum limit of $100,000.
  9. High level of attention to detail.
  10. Positive influence on all employees.
  11. Able to manage multiple priorities and close the loop when interrupted.
  12. Courteous customer service, internally and externally.
  13. Must love helping people, both internally and externally.
  14. Able to demonstrate a high degree of passion and energy whilst maintaining a positive outlook.
  15. Must be able to pass required background checks and drug screenings.
