We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail CPG Foods Sales Representative to join our team in the East Region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our market presence within the retail consumer packaged goods (CPG) food sector. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners, executing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage retail food sales across the Midwest region to ensure the achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators.
Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and profitability.
Manage key accounts, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Own and manage product categories, including new product launches and rollouts.
Analyze sales performance data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
Use syndicated data to understand market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, promoting our products and building brand awareness.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies and goals.
Develop and implement effective sales training programs for the sales team.
Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail food sales, preferably in the CPG industry.
Proven experience in account management, category ownership, and product rollouts.
Experience in strategic planning and execution, with a track record of driving sales growth.
Proficiency in using syndicated data for market analysis and sales strategy development.
Experience in managing key accounts and building strong customer relationships.
Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing regional sales teams.
Excellent analytical skills, with experience in sales performance analysis and forecasting.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel as needed for trade shows and customer visits.
