Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Lead to join our team, specializing in school uniforms. The ideal candidate will support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and help maintain store standards. This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for someone who thrives in a retail environment and enjoys helping families get ready for the school year.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.

  • Assist customers with product selection, sizing, and special orders for school uniforms.

  • Lead and motivate summer sales associates during peak season; act as the main point of contact in the manager's absence.

  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment and organization.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised sales floor.

  • Open and close the store, including handling cash, registers, and daily reporting.

  • Train new employees and support ongoing staff development during peak season.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Handle customer concerns or returns professionally and promptly.


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1–2 years of retail experience preferred; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with school uniform products and customer needs is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Availability to work flexible hours including Saturday's and peak summer season.


Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform light physical tasks related to stock and displays.
