Skills for Chicago
Is a Chicago-based nonprofit that removes barriers to employment by eliminating biases that disqualify candidates unnecessarily. Working with local and global companies, Skills brings opportunities to neighborhoods and municipalities throughout the Chicagoland area. To be eligible for Skills for Chicago services, candidates must reside in Illinois, Indiana or Wisconsin, be authorized to work in the United States, and be either unemployed or underemployed.

Job Highlights
Engage with existing and prospective customers through needs-based assessments and recommend tailored solutions
Offer clients guidance on available digital and self-serve options with the goal of making banking easy, simple, and fast
Grow BMO’s customer base through outreach, generating appointments, and building new relationships within the community
Address questions and resolve issues raised through consumer credit audits and quality checks to ensure accurate data entry
Follow risk and compliance processes and policies to ensure safety for customers’ assets and privacy
Candidate Profile
Experience in financial services and/or in a customer service or sales role is a plus
Knowledge of customer needs and solutions, retail investments, and lending products is an asset
Relevant soft skills include problem solving, adaptability, verbal and written communication, organization, collaboration, and a results-driven mindset
Additional Information
May work at multiple branches based on market needs; work schedule may differ from week to week in terms of days worked, hours, and shifts
