Scope of Position

The Retail Receiving Supervisor responsibilities include inventory control in merchandise receiving area, working with delivery personnel, and checking-in and counting merchandise received, and ensuring stock room is clean and organized.

Requirements Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment. Proficient with Jonas Software. Knowledge of Golf & Retail preferred. Cashier and financial skills required. Minimum of one (1) year retail supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Accurate and timely receipt of merchandise into inventory using Jonas software. Accurate and timely reconciliation of invoices and forwarding of all paperwork to the Accounting department. Ensure retail receiving and products/inventory is accurately accounted for. Liaise with guests and members to place special orders with vendors and assure accurate and timely deliveries. Assist General Manager with managing labor and expense budgets. Thorough knowledge of merchandise and equipment in order to assist guests with their purchases. Preparing invoices and accurately utilizing purchasing system to ensure timely payment for Accounting. Following-up with vendors and guests/members on special orders and order status. Mark new merchandise and restock. Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.

Education High school diploma or GED.

Skills and Abilities Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus. Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks. Basic computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), math skills to complete inventory counts and register reconciliations. Physical Requirements Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds. Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
