Requirements:
  • Lead daily operations of retail and specialty pharmacy divisions.
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff (hiring, training, coaching, and performance management).
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with company values and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
  • Analyze financial reports to drive profitability and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with the billing team to reduce write-offs and improve accuracy.
  • Optimize workflow and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain readiness for audits and inspections while ensuring excellent patient and customer service.
  • Foster relationships with referral sources and external partners to drive business growth.
  • Actively participate in business development through industry events, conferences, and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or higher required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Prior pharmacy operations experience strongly preferred.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations, systems, and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Strong analytical skills to read and interpret pharmacy system reports and financial statements.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to implement continuous improvement in operational processes.
