- Lead daily operations of retail and specialty pharmacy divisions.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff (hiring, training, coaching, and performance management).
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with company values and goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Analyze financial reports to drive profitability and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with the billing team to reduce write-offs and improve accuracy.
- Optimize workflow and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Maintain readiness for audits and inspections while ensuring excellent patient and customer service.
- Foster relationships with referral sources and external partners to drive business growth.
- Actively participate in business development through industry events, conferences, and training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or higher required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
- Prior pharmacy operations experience strongly preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations, systems, and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Strong analytical skills to read and interpret pharmacy system reports and financial statements.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to implement continuous improvement in operational processes.
