Position Summary Our Retail Packaging Crew are highly organized and detail-oriented, and will assist with the packaging, labeling, and pre-delivery process for our freshly harvested products. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our produce reaches the market in pristine condition, meeting our high standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities Assist packaging of harvested produce, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with farm and market standards. Manage unit weights. Assist labeling ensuring labels include correct product details, expiration dates, and branding. Assist in the inspection of packaged products to maintain quality and freshness standards before distribution. Assist management of inventory of packaging materials. Assist with preparation of products for delivery, maintaining accurate product counts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging and storage areas, adhering to food safety protocols. Communicate effectively with the Retail Packaging Coordinator to report progress, challenges, and updates Qualifications Previous experience in packaging, logistics, or a related role (experience in agriculture or food production is a plus). Strong organizational and time-management skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy in labeling and packaging. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 lbs as needed. Must be comfortable walking, standing, reaching, and working with both hands for long periods. Must have access to reliable transportation to reach the workplace on time.
