As the Retail Operations Manager for Brick & Mortar (B&M) retail, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of retail initiatives by providing essential operational and organizational support across multiple markets. In this role, you'll help drive project success from inception to completion by coordinating market-specific activities, enabling clear communication, and maintaining the flow of information across internal and external partners.
You will oversee the organization and maintenance of project resources, build and track project timelines, and coordinate key milestone meetings-such as kick-offs, creative reviews, and handovers. You'll ensure all artwork is routed for timely approval and production release, capture and share meeting documentation, and act as a central point of contact for supplier onboarding, contracts, and payment processes when needed.
Additionally, you will foster and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and agencies-including Shopper Marketing and Transcreation partners-supporting seamless collaboration while handling ad hoc requests with agility and efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
Project Setup & Coordination Organize and maintain project folders for all Americas B&M retail initiatives, ensuring consistent documentation and version control. Develop and monitor project-specific timelines for US retail activity, working closely with internal teams and external partners to keep deliverables on track. Coordinate key project milestones-including kick-off sessions, creative reviews, and handover meetings-to enable smooth transitions and collaboration. Document and share clear, actionable meeting notes with all relevant stakeholders. Monitor and communicate changes in project scope, supporting cross-functional teams to understand implications and escalating issues when necessary. Operational Excellence Lead the coordination and facilitation of all market-specific project meetings, ensuring alignment and follow-up on action items. Oversee the approval and production release process for artwork assets, tracking deadlines and stakeholder feedback. Maintain productive relationships with external partners, including Shopper Marketing and Transcreation Agencies, to ensure quality deliverables. Raise Purchase Requests and complete goods receipts in Ariba, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments in alignment with Dyson processes. Proactively communicate project status updates and upcoming deliverables to both internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with the Senior Production Manager to clarify scope of work pre-production and provide ongoing support throughout project execution. Oversee pre- and post-production coordination, integrating these phases into holistic project timelines. Manage the uploading of final assets in partnership with production and creative teams, ensuring organization within the asset management system. Track and facilitate creative asset reviews via Dyson's DAM (Digital Asset Management System), ensuring timely feedback and version control. Respond efficiently to ad hoc requests, supporting evolving business needs. Process Improvement & Brand Stewardship Facilitate cross-functional post-mortem reviews to capture and share project learnings and successes. Support the rollout and adoption of new operational tools and processes as defined by Group, working closely with the regional team. Contribute to ongoing process improvement and efficiency initiatives within the retail operations function. Ensure all activities uphold Dyson's quality standards and brand reputation as a committed brand ambassador. About You
A dynamic, enthusiastic, and collaborative professional exhibiting the following traits: Organized and action-oriented, able to develop project plans and manage from kick-off to delivery Flexible enough to manage projects in an environment that can be ambiguous and/or rapidly growing and changing Able to scope large pieces of work, leading the process of breaking down amorphous problems into deliverable solutions Proactive - figures out the implications of today's actions to plan for tomorrow Relationship management - comfortable making connections with the cross-functional teams - insights, category, finance, sales, design, and global partners Roll up your sleeves mentality - willing to challenge yourself to navigate through challenges and solve problems in one minute, and get down into the weeds the next Experience: Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Project Management, or related field 5+ years of advertising, marketing or creative agency project management or trafficking experience Expert knowledge in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; PPM Pro and other project management platforms are a plus
