Job Details
We are looking for a data-driven and results-oriented Retail Operations Manager to support the growth of our client’s retail footprint. In this role, you will be the connective tissue between internal teams and retail partners — helping to forecast demand, plan promotions, and ensure products are available and performing across stores.
You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure operational excellence, accurate inventory planning, and actionable retail insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Partner Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to understand their promotional calendars, category trends, and sell-through performance.
Forecasting & Demand Planning: Lead retail sales forecasting by analyzing POS data, historical trends, and promotional impact to ensure inventory levels are aligned with expected demand.
Inventory Optimization: Collaborate closely with the supply chain team to monitor stock levels, prevent out-of-stocks, and manage replenishment strategies across accounts.
Promotion & Program Analysis: Evaluate retail promotions and merchandising programs to measure ROI and inform future strategies.
Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into store performance, inventory health, and market trends.
Retail Execution Support: Partner with field teams or brokers to ensure planogram compliance, promotional execution, and retail readiness.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as a key point of contact between retail accounts and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of launches, promotions, and seasonal programs.
Qualifications:
4–6 years of experience in retail operations, demand planning, or sales analytics — ideally in CPG, health & wellness, or nutritional products.
Strong analytical skills and experience working with POS data, syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen), and retail reporting platforms.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
Familiarity with retail forecasting and promotional planning processes.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred:
Experience working with national or regional retail chains (e.g., Whole Foods, Sprouts, CVS, Target).
Exposure to ERP systems and inventory planning tools (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan, Relex).
Passion for health, wellness, and helping people live better lives.
