Reporting to the CPU Sales & Distribution Manager, the Merchandise Coordinator will join our team on a full-time basis at our South Guildford branch. This role involves providing excellent customer service to CAT shop patrons to ensure growth and stability of Caterpillar merchandise sales. Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours per day (including meal break) Responsibilities: Assist CAT shop customers with inquiries, ensuring prompt and helpful responses. Coordinate stock orders with suppliers and maintain good relationships. Use effective marketing and sales techniques to display products attractively. Process all orders promptly and inform customers of backorders or discontinued items. Manage stock, including ordering, receiving, picking, packing, and fulfilling orders according to customer specifications. Cover CSC Reception Area breaks and other leave when required. Skills & Experience: Previous experience in customer service and/or sales roles. Experience with SAP & DBS is highly desirable. Advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite and internet-based applications). Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
