Job Summary

We are seeking a Retail Media Manager to join our team in our office in Northwest Arkansas. Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to define goals that fit into overall advertising strategies and KPIs.
  • Works across self-serve PPC and DSP campaigns, retailer-managed media buys, and marketing calendars.
  • Negotiates for retailer-managed media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with retailers.
  • For top clients: Drive platform, ad type and budget strategy recommendations across retailers, communicate up to date media opportunities and said impact on overall media strategy, and conduct strategy meetings to relay key learnings across Bluebird.
  • Develop and oversee the retail media teams processes, aligning them with the company's strategic goals, while leading the team and collaborating cross functionally to implement large scale process changes and evaluating their impact on the overall business performance.
  • Supervise a group of team members engaging in a wide variety of duties and complexities where you are responsible for overseeing career growth, responsible for team member expenses, and deliverables while maintaining profit goals.
  • Use tact and reasoning in discussing problems, presenting data, and making recommendations, taking responsibility for your actions and decisions.
  • Ability to story tell and articulate 360 degree marketing roadmap by using multiple sets of data such as category data, competitor analysis, owned sales, owned advertising performance data, and more.
  • Understand all aspects of digital advertising inclusive of but not limited to digital, social, retail, search and how to drive brand awareness and drive conversions.
  • Engage with industry experts, retailers, partner networks, and other stakeholders in the industry to gather and introduce innovative ideas.
  • Make frequent decisions of major importance that affect the work operations of your direct team and our clients by working closely with different retailers, internal pillars, peers and company leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or experience equivalent to four years of college) in a related field
  • 8 years of related work experience preferably in ecommerce, retail, or CPG
  • Pay per click advertising experience required
  • Media buying, shopper marketing, and/or media planning experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are able to convey complicated strategies and data
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit the ability to pivot quickly, a curiosity to learn, and a sense of ownership and confidence in leading clients and cross functional partners.
  • Excited about a fast-paced environment that changes quickly and at ease with adapting to changes in the industry
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office Suite - specifically in PowerPoint & Excel
  • Possess strong analytical skills in varied situations to enable effective discussion, data presentation, and responsible decision-making.
  • Proven track record of managing people effectively by providing a clear vision, conflict resolution, and development opportunities to ensure the success of your team.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing financial responsible (P&L).
  • High level ability and trust within team, project, and client management
  • Exceptional diplomatic skills and the ability to engage in constructive discussions to make decisions based on both logical and critical thinking.
