This transitional role is designed to prepare you for a management position and includes hands-on assignments and structured training opportunities. With dedication, you can be promoted to a management role in just 8-12 weeks, depending on your performance and experience. Key Responsibilities: Leadership Development: Live the pledge, provide outstanding customer service, and nurture a high-performing, engaged store team. Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with team members and customers to drive store execution and performance. Metrics Awareness: Learn to manage, analyze, and optimize monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for store profitability. Process Orientation: Support store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and structured training processes. Team Building: Assist with staffing, mentoring, and training employees for a successful team dynamic. Customer Service Leadership: Oversee customer service activities, ensuring excellent experiences and proactive issue resolution. Inventory Management: Manage inventory accuracy, merchandising standards, and sales strategies for optimal success. Operations Training: Complete structured management skills training to learn essential store operations and AutoZone culture. Please note: Progression through the training program is essential for consideration for management openings. Promotions are based on performance and management availability. Qualifications: Minimum of 1-2 years of prior experience as a retail manager or supervisor. Flexible availability for full-time hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and potential overtime. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English. Experience in automotive retail or financial analytics (e.g., P&L statements) is a plus.
