Position Overview: The Retail Key Holder plays a crucial role in the daily operations of the store by opening and closing the facility, handling administrative tasks, and providing top-notch customer service. Responsibilities include assisting customers, maintaining a neat store environment, and ensuring security measures are in place. Key Responsibilities: Communicate and enforce company/store policies and procedures. Collaborate with management to coach staff on inventory management best practices. Assist in training employees for effective store organization. Execute daily operational goals set by store management. Train and develop team members. Manage cash registers and handle bank deposits as needed. Implement loss prevention procedures to protect company assets. Maintain a constructive relationship with the management team. Address safety concerns promptly and report incidents as necessary. Update store management regularly on store and staff progress. Actively participate in daily team meetings. Ensure compliance with shipping and inventory processes. Manage store displays for optimal presentation. Process and expedite store transfers efficiently. Handle damaged and defective goods effectively. Be a positive role model for staff and support company strategies. Engage customers using the E.C.E.T. method for every interaction. Remain customer-ready on the sales floor at all times. Recommend additional items to enhance customer sales. Stay informed about current promotions and advertisements. Uphold store cleanliness and merchandising standards. Assist in processing new shipments and maintaining organized stock areas. Answer phone calls professionally. Be vigilant against potential merchandise losses. Report pricing errors promptly. Demonstrate proficiency in all store services. Ensure proper storage of shipments and manage overstock accordingly. Adhere to company policies and complete additional duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Walking: Frequent on flat surfaces. Standing: Constant throughout the shift. Sitting: None required. Stooping: Frequent for lower-level tasks. Reaching: Frequent up to 6 feet high. Lifting: Frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs. Hand Dexterity: Required for operational tasks. Pushing/Pulling: Frequent movement of equipment. Carrying: Frequent of up to 50 lbs. Climbing: Infrequent use of ladders. Vision: Constant focus on label reading and safety. Hearing: Constant attention to safety signals.
