Salary: $60,000-70,000 per year
Other Forms of Compensation: up to $2,500 annually
Reports to: Sr. Director of Food & Nutrition
Schedule: Full time; primarily Monday through Friday day shift but must have flexibility to work 2nd shift and weekends as needed. More details are available upon interviewing.

Job Summary
The Retail Manager position is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, entrepreneurial manager. They are responsible for the successful retail/cafeteria operation and performs a variety of duties including oversight of the retail cafe, catering/special functions, Starbucks coffee shop, maintaining of cash controls and payroll records, and the hiring and training of our hourly team members. They also ensure customer satisfaction and good public relations through the safe and efficient uses of resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitors sales trends, labor costs, and profit margins in our retail cafeteria, caterings, Starbucks and doctors lounges
Prepares and manages budgets for both retail and café operation
Provide regular reports on sales, labor, inventory, and customer feedback,
Follow Starbucks licensed store agreements
Responds quickly to patients' family or staff concerns and resolves service issues calmly and professionally
Oversees daily administrative and operational tasks
Handles all aspects of staff management including interviewing and onboarding team members for retail and Starbucks operations
Manages all financials including budget development, forecasting, and financial reporting
Maintains knowledge of the market place and trends
Manages cost controls and control expenditures for the account
Oversees sanitation and safety of assigned unit(s)
Purchases and manages inventory
Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
Acts as the direct liaison with the client
Preferred Qualifications:
Three or more years supervisory experience in food service operations
Supervisory experience in a healthcare, senior living, retirement or related environment desirable
Associates degree in food & beverage, nutrition, or Culinary a plus.
Knowledge of retail, food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
Leadership, management and coaching skills
Communication skills both written and verbal
Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs, e-mail, the Internet and other necessary computer programs
