Join our team as a Retail Customer Service Associate, where you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising products, managing stock, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment. Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $20.00 Year 3 - $20.50 Year 4 - $20.50 Year 5 - $21.50 Duties and Responsibilities: As a key team member, you will: Provide excellent customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs. Process customer purchases effectively and efficiently. Keep the store clean and organized by performing general cleaning duties. Stock shelves and merchandise displays to present products neatly. Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management. Monitor inventory, participate in store inventory counts, and provide feedback on products and issues. Adhere to company cash policies and procedures to minimize losses. Follow all established policies to ensure the security and confidentiality of documents and data. Execute other assigned duties as needed. Physical Demands: Ability to stock merchandise and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at varying heights. Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry items throughout the store. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to helping others. Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently. Experience using equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers. Experience in performing general cleaning duties to company standards. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Organized with attention to detail, multitasking capabilities, and adherence to instructions. Must meet any local regulations regarding the handling and sale of alcoholic beverages. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is a plus.
