Palmer Candy Company is looking for Part-Time Team Members for our Candy Store. We are looking for Team Members who are outgoing, approachable, believe in a great customer experience and loves both gourmet food and chocolate.

We are looking for Team Members who can work 2 to 3 full shifts each week. Shift hours are 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. 2 Saturday's a month will be required for this position.

Job Summary:

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with all their requests and needs
• Operate a cash register which includes opening and closing registers as well as troubleshooting register issues
• Follow all alcohol sales standards
• Stock products and make sure shelves are organized and clean
• Assist with Store decoration
• Assist with inventory control
• Create orders for pickup
• Occasionally make deliveries and going to post office or to the bank for change orders.
• Follow food safety procedures and coach to those standards.
• Take orders over the phone, giving accurate prices, timeline for orders being completed, delivered, or picked up.
• Understand computer system including inventory, manufacturing, and stock transactions
• Regular and timely attendance is required for this job

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must love interacting with people
• Have the ability to stand for the majority of your shift
• Have basic computer skills

Education/Experience:

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to be certified to operate an electric pallet jack.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
