Unit Description

Southland Casino Hotel, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 2200 slot machines, live blackjack, craps, and roulette tables, simulcast wagering, and sportsbook. Our new hotel features 300 luxurious rooms and suites. Southland is located in West Memphis, Arkansas, only a short drive from downtown Memphis, Tennessee.

Responsibilities Greet guests, answer questions, and assist whenever possible Process sales with a point of sale system and bag merchandise Maintain records related to sales Routinely stock merchandise and maintain backstock Verify the amount of bank at the beginning and end of each shift Qualifications Previous customer service experience required Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to accurately handle money and count change Ability to make simple additions and subtractions Experience working with point-of sale systems and processing non-cash transactions Must be at least 21 years of age No high school diploma or GED required Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds Ability to stand for entire length of shift Ability to climb stairs and step stool frequently Visual acuity sufficient to distinguish merchandise and operate point-of-sale system
