Join Our Team and Help Make a Difference! The pay range for this position is $13.00/hr to $21.00/hr, with an attractive starting rate of $18.65/hr . Schedule: Weekend availability is required! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Front End: Provide customers with an exceptional CHEF'STORE experience by building strong relationships. Process sales and handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems. Perform cart transfers at checkout while checking for any product tampering. Verify purchases against cart content as customers exit the store. Assist in opening and closing procedures at the Front End as assigned.

Sales Floor and Stocking: Focus on increasing sales and minimizing shrinkage by assisting customers effectively. Receive inventory shipments and maintain stocked shelves in an organized fashion, ensuring proper product rotation. Label merchandise accurately and assist with pricing changes as needed. Replenish the sales floor daily, following FIFO procedures for product rotation. Participate in inventory counting processes as required.

Customer Courtesy: Maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and customers by adhering to safety policies. Ensure cleanliness on the sales floor, at the front end, and in restrooms. Regularly gather and clean carts from the parking lot and designated areas.

In addition to the above duties, other responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Work Environment: This position is based in a retail store setting, which is open to the public. Candidates should be prepared for exposure to various weather conditions, a moderate noise level, and variable temperatures ranging from -10 to 85 degrees. Minimum Qualifications: 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience. Preferred: One year of retail selling and/or customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications: Strong desire to provide exceptional customer service. Ability to multitask and work both independently and within a team. Familiarity with basic computer skills and cash handling. Flexible availability including weekends and holidays. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Physical Qualifications: Must be able to stand continuously, walk frequently, and occasionally sit. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently; heavier items may be handled occasionally. Frequent bending, reaching, and grasping of objects is necessary.
