Schedule: Weekend availability is required! Key Responsibilities: Front End Operations: Deliver exceptional customer service by building and nurturing relationships. Use training from CHEF'STORE Way to model professionalism in the store. Perform efficient sales and cash functions using the POS, ensuring accuracy in scanning and pricing. Conduct visual inspections of products during checkout to ensure safety and quality. Participate in store opening and closing duties as needed. Sales Floor and Stocking: Boost sales and manage inventory by assisting customers in product selection and providing information on services. Assist in receiving shipments and maintaining orderly, well-stocked shelves while adhering to proper stock rotation. Ensure all products are properly labeled and readily accessible. Support pricing updates and inventory counts as directed. Customer Courtesy: Keep the facility clean and safe by adhering to safety protocols and notifying management of any concerns. Ensure the sales floor, front end, restrooms, and parking lot are well-maintained. Gather and organize shopping carts ensuring they are clean and functional. In addition to these responsibilities, you may take on other tasks as assigned by management. Work Environment: This position is in a retail store open to the public, with exposure to various weather conditions and noise levels. The work requires standing and moving frequently, with temperature variations throughout the store. Qualifications: A minimum of 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience is required. One year of retail customer service experience preferred. Preferred Skills: Strong desire to provide outstanding customer service and collaborate with team members. Ability to think logically and possess basic mathematical skills. Motivated, self-driven, and capable of multitasking. Basic computer skills required. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand continuously, lift weights ranging from light to heavy, and complete tasks that require bending, twisting, and reaching.
