Our farm is looking to hire a hands-on Bakery Supervisor in our Farm Market. This is a full-time leadership position that requires the applicant to work five days a week and be available to work on weekends and most holidays. Our shifts are from 8:00am-5:15pm. The job will entail overseeing and working on the bakery side of our store. These tasks include: Waiting on customers and assisting in the daily operations of the market Managing a team of 6-10 employees Expert product knowledge Training of new staff members Gift Wrapping and Gift Basket Assembly Limited Product Inventories and Ordering Department Scheduling and assisting with callouts General opening and closing routines of the store Product display, packaging and stocking of food items Rotation and quality control of baked goods Cleanliness and Organization We would like this applicant to have: At least five years of experience in retail management Ability to effectively lead a team Excellent customer service, communication, and organization skills Knowledge of baked goods and a strong interest in food Knowledge of Food Safety and Merchandising Gift Wrapping capabilities Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail We offer a full range of benefits - Health, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, Employee Discounts, Bonuses and free produce.
