We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Gift Shop Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining an organized and visually appealing retail space, and assisting guests with their purchases. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering a great shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Sales:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Provide product recommendations and answer customer inquiries.

Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.

Promote special offers and upsell products when appropriate.

Merchandising & Store Maintenance:

Stock shelves and maintain an organized, visually appealing store.

Ensure products are displayed attractively and rotated properly.

Perform regular inventory checks and report stock shortages.

Keep the store clean and tidy, including counters, shelves, and display cases.

Operations & Compliance:

Follow all cash handling and loss prevention procedures.

Assist in receiving and unpacking merchandise deliveries.

Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.

Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register.

Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
