The Food and Nutrition Services (FANS) Lead oversees daily operations across caf, patient services, and sanitation areas, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant foodservice delivery. This role supports meal preparation, tray assembly, dishroom operations, and patient meal delivery, while also managing caf transactions, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, and restocking supplies. As a working lead, this position guides team members, communicates with leadership, and adapts to evolving operational needs to uphold service excellence and regulatory compliance. Oversee daily foodservice operations across caf, patient services, and sanitation areas, ensuring timely meal delivery, clean environments, and consistent service quality. Prepare and assist with food and beverage production, cold prep, tray assembly, and patient meal delivery, adapting to operational needs throughout the day. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards by monitoring sanitation practices, organizing work areas, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Engage with patients and caf customers through rounding to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with food quality and service. Support and guide team members by communicating effectively with leadership, assisting with onboarding, and promoting a collaborative, service-focused environment. High School diploma or equivalent or 2 years direct food service experience.
