Retail Assistant Supervisor Are you a motivated leader with a passion for customer service? Join our team as a Retail Assistant Supervisor! In this role, you will empower and inspire site personnel to deliver outstanding service and ensure operational excellence during your shifts. Your leadership will be key to modeling and providing a high standard of customer interaction, overseeing compliance with policies and procedures, managing scheduling, analyzing profitability, and coordinating vendor relations. Key Responsibilities: Monitor financial metrics including sales volume, P&L, controllable expenses, cash controls, and inventory management. Ensure a positive and memorable customer experience. Provide direct customer service by greeting and assisting customers and resolving queries or complaints efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of the facility and equipment to identify maintenance or repair needs. Support the Store Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring staff. Supervise store staff to uphold labor model standards and performance expectations. Lead, mentor, and oversee employees engaged in sales, cash reconciliation, and customer service tasks. Essential Skills: Entrepreneurial Orientation: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and create opportunities. Leadership & Development: Proficient at delegating and coaching others to enhance their skills. Customer Focus: Skilled in resolving customer challenges quickly and effectively. Financial Acumen: Ability to achieve or exceed sales and financial objectives. Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Teamwork: Proven ability to foster collaboration among team members. Loss Prevention: Knowledgeable in implementing systems to minimize loss and maintain inventory integrity. Qualifications: High school diploma required. One year of management experience in a fast-paced retail environment preferred. ServeSafe certification required. Experience with cash management, POS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.
