U Stars Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Area Manager to oversee multiple retail outlets under our Retail Services Division. This position is ideal for a results-driven individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in managing both fresh produce (e.g. fruits and vegetables) and dry goods across day-to-day store operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of multiple outlets to ensure efficient and consistent execution of retail standards Lead, coach, and support Store Managers and retail teams to meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer service. Monitor store performance, execute operational strategies, and ensure adherence to SOPs and company policies. Ensure proper handling, display, and stock rotation of both fresh products and dry goods, maintaining quality, hygiene, and presentation standards. Conduct regular store visits and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Drive stock control accuracy through regular checks, inventory control, and coordination with the logistics team. Coordinate with merchandising, HR, and buying teams to support promotional activities and operational needs. Analyse sales reports and operational data to drive productivity and profitability. Plan manpower allocation and support recruitment, training, and performance management. Requirements: Diploma or higher in Business, Retail Management, or related fields. Minimum 3 years of experience in multi-outlet retail operations, preferably in supermarkets or convenience chains. Strong understanding of retail SOPs, inventory management, and product handling (fresh and dry). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment. Bilingual in English and Mandarin is an advantage (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking staff or vendors).
