FarmaKeio Albuquerque Compounding Pharmacy is seeking an experienced and professional Retail and Customer Service Specialist to be the welcoming face of our advanced 503A compounding pharmacy!
This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will be a key part of our daily operations, providing exceptional service to our diverse customer base. You will assist patients with custom compounds and guide them through our selection of innovative over-the-counter wellness solutions. Our pharmacy specializes in fast, temperature-sensitive deliveries, often arriving within 24 hours. Your ability to help customers with their needs will be essential to our success.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is passionate about customer service and has a proven track record in a retail environment, such as a pharmacy, drug store, or fast-paced gas station.
Strong customer focus and a dedication to excellence. Comfortable working in a retail pharmacy setting with frequent standing, walking, and interaction with customers. Fluency in Spanish is a huge plus as you'll be helping us connect with an even wider range of patients, both locally and across 48 states. What We Offer

Working Conditions This is a full-time position with a standard Monday-Friday schedule, 9 am-5 pm (NO weekends!). You will work in a retail pharmacy setting and must adhere to all safety protocols and USP guidelines when applicable. Responsibilities
• Welcome and assist all customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, ensuring their needs are met quickly and effectively. • Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately managing cash, credit, and insurance payments. • Keep the retail area clean, organized, and appealing, making sure product displays are well-stocked and follow brand standards. • Work with pharmacy leaders to execute seasonal promotions, new product launches, and sales events, while confirming all displays meet regulatory requirements. • Help manage inventory by receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise. • Handle incoming phone calls, directing inquiries and providing administrative support to the pharmacy team. • Inform customers about over-the-counter products and services, using your strong product expertise.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required). • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing retail role, such as a cashier, sales associate, or customer service representative, preferably in drug stores, pharmacies, or gas stations. • Proven strong customer service skills with a track record of positive customer interactions. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Spanish speakers are highly encouraged to apply. • Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions. • Basic computer skills; experience with retail software systems is a plus.
