Position Summary The Retail Accountant reports to the Chief Accountant and takes direction from both the Chief Accountant and the Chief Financial Officer. This position is responsible for performing moderately complex accounting duties, including maintaining, preparing, posting, and reconciling financial and budgetary statements, records, documents, and reports. The role may focus on specific areas such as federal funds accounting, property and equipment control, cost accounting, or budgeting. The Retail Accountant is expected to meet deadlines and deliver accurate outcomes while performing all duties with a calm, professional demeanor. A high level of customer service is essential in all business interactions. This position requires an individual who is results-driven and able to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
