Restaurant Service Manager – Harlem, NYA high-energy, full-service BBQ restaurant in Harlem is seeking a Restaurant Service Manager to lead front-of-house operations and deliver outstanding hospitality in a fun, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, hands-on leader with strong communication skills, a passion for guest service, and the ability to manage a high-volume dining experience.Key Responsibilities: Lead front-of-house (FOH) operations, including managing floor shifts, supervising service staff, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences Hire, train, and develop FOH team members to maintain a professional, guest-focused atmosphere Create staff schedules and manage labor to align with sales forecasts and business needs Maintain strong floor presence during peak shifts to support team and resolve guest issues in real time Enforce company policies, service standards, and health/safety regulations Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth food and beverage coordination and timely service Monitor service quality, ticket times, cleanliness, and guest feedback to identify and address areas for improvement Manage cash handling, tip pools, and daily reporting procedures Support marketing initiatives, group dining coordination, and special events as needed Report directly to the General Manager and contribute to driving sales, team morale, and operational efficiency Qualifications: 2+ years of FOH management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills Exceptional guest service instincts and communication abilities Working knowledge of POS systems, labor management tools, and health/safety protocols Ability to lead by example and foster a high-performance team culture Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and energetic service leader to make an impact in a lively, guest-driven restaurant known for bold flavors and great hospitality.
