Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests warmly and professionally, sharing information about the menu and specials while making personalized recommendations. Accurately take food and drink orders from guests, ensuring that any special requests, dietary needs, or allergy restrictions are effectively communicated to the kitchen. Serve food and beverages promptly to guests, ensuring that all orders meet our restaurant's quality standards. Continuously monitor and attend to guests' needs throughout their dining experience, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Present checks, process payments, and handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy. Address and resolve guest complaints or issues efficiently and professionally, escalating any unresolved matters to management as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the server station, dining area, and surrounding workspaces, adhering to all health and safety standards. Assist with opening and closing duties and complete side work as assigned. Certifications: TABC Certification for serving alcohol and Texas Food Handlers Certification are required. Skills: Strong customer service skills, clear communication abilities, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in point-of-sale systems. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods, move quickly, bend, twist, and lift items weighing up to 35 pounds. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a server or in customer service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
