Member: Late Night Slice - A Columbus-founded pizza joint specializing in by-the-slice offerings and an irreverently fun atmosphere that is focused on experience as much as it is on serving excellent pizza. Open lunch, dinner, and late night for dine-in and carryout orders of all sizes.


Job Title: General Manager 

Oversees daily operations of the entire restaurant, ensuring smooth function and optimal
customer satisfaction. Their responsibilities include managing team members, scheduling, inventory
management, budgeting, and maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.

The General Manager will also handle customer complaints, implement marketing strategies to attract more guests, and collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to enhance efficiency and profitability. A successful candidate possesses strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a
passion for the restaurant industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides supervision to others through coaching, motivation, direction, and review of performance
  • Holding team members accountable
  • Maintains LNS standards and codes of conduct
  • Oversees and maintains a high level of culture and hospitality throughout their location
  • Communicates as needed with Home Office Team via text and/or email or Sling to review shop needs, points of interest, guest and employee feedback, or any other pertinent information
  • Performs or coordinates regular cleaning and maintenance of the location and all equipment
  • Participates in scheduled Accountability Calls
  • Ability to inspect cooking and refrigeration equipment for potential problems, and perform regular preventative maintenance
  • Effectively and efficiently orders all supplies, food, and alcohol required to serve customers and operate the location, as well as maintenance of a reasonable inventory on hand, as per Late Night Slice guidelines to achieve established COGs per your location scorecard
  • Utilizes and regularly updates Declining Budget
  • Ensures proper cash handling using official Late Night Slice managerial processes and SOPs
  • Ensure all deposits are taken to the bank daily
  • Maintains location workflow with consistent initiative to improve efficiency when possible
  • Ensures and maintains all Late Night Slice promotional materials are visible and up-to-date, including point-of-sale displays, banners, window and wall fixtures, employee recipe and informational postings, and menu addendums
  • Leads team members in all manners related to company operations at your location
  • Creates and maintains employee schedules, posting each Thursday by 5pm
  • Ensures placement of orders and completes inventory

  • Management of Personnel Resources - Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, and identifying the best people for the job (putting aces in their places)


Experience and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate, college degree preferred but not required
  • Prior management experience
  • GM experience preferred
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Food preparation and/or bartending experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
