Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and efficient Restaurant Cashier with experience using the Toast POS system to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, process transactions accurately, and ensure a smooth dining experience for our guests.

Requirements Key Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly and assist with placing orders. Operate the Toast POS system to process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments, and gift cards). Ensure accurate handling of cash and balancing the register at the end of each shift. Provide menu information and answer customer questions regarding food and beverages. Assist with packaging takeout orders and ensuring order accuracy. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure a seamless workflow. Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and dining area. Handle refunds, discounts, and loyalty programs as per company policy. Assist with closing duties, including counting cash, reconciling transactions, and generating sales reports. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience as a cashier in a restaurant setting is preferred. Proficiency with Toast POS system is required. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Basic math skills and attention to detail for handling transactions accurately.
