At the Greenway Tap Restaurant inside The Preserve at Oak Meadows Golf Course in Addison, you'll not only serve guests in a scenic, welcoming environment, but also enjoy golf privileges, restaurant discounts, and a supportive team atmosphere.
What You'll Do
As a Bartender, you'll be the friendly face behind the bar providing top-quality drinks and customer service. You will:
Prepare and serve cocktails, craft beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Make recommendations and share knowledge about beer, spirits, and food pairings.
Provide exceptional guest service, whether at the bar, patio window, or dining area.
Keep the bar organized, sanitary, and fully stocked with supplies.
Check IDs and ensure all alcohol sales follow state laws.
Assist with food service at the bar and help servers as needed.
Operate the POS system, process payments, and balance reports accurately.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
What You'll Need
21 years of age or older.
2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant.
Knowledge of craft beer, cocktails, and beverage/food pairings.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Illinois Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
Illinois BASSET Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire – training provided).
Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
Schedule & Pay
Variable schedule based on business needs; includes weekdays and weekends.
Shifts may start as early as 6:00/6:30 AM or end around 10:30/11:00 PM.
$9.00/hour + tips.
