Job Summary Our client, a leading insurance and benefits organization, is seeking 22 Benefits Counselors to join their upcoming class. In this role, you will guide employees through their benefit options, ensuring they understand their medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary coverage choices. While you'll play a key role during open enrollment, responsibilities extend to year-round benefit communication projects.

Key Responsibilities Answering benefits questions across all core products: medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits.

Assisting with ID cards and locating in-network providers.

Helping employees with benefit portal logins and password resets.

Supporting enrollment processes.

Participating in training to become proficient in client programs, call center technology, and benefit platforms.

Qualifications Active California Life, Accident & Health Insurance License (required).

Willingness to obtain additional licenses in Washington, Arizona, Iowa, and Indiana (client reimburses after 2 weeks of successful employment).

Errors & Omissions (E&O) Insurance (client reimburses after 2 weeks).

Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills.

Proficient computer skills (must pass Computer Literacy assessment).

Prior open enrollment or benefits counseling experience preferred.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desired.

Benefits $30+/hr base pay

Fully remote (must have own laptop and headset)

Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state/local ordinances)

Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (6 Medix plans available; eligibility after first 4 weeks averaging 30+ hours/week, coverage effective ~60 days)

Schedule Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts between 9am-8pm EST (flexible schedules available).

No overtime permitted.
