Location: Capital Region, NY (covering Southern Vermont, Western Massachusetts, the Capital Region, and the Adirondack Region)
Overview:
A well-established heavy equipment company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive business development and account growth across Southern Vermont, Western Massachusetts, the Capital Region, and the Adirondack Region. This role focuses on building strong client relationships in the construction and agricultural sectors while expanding market share in a multi-territory footprint.
Compensation: Total Compensation Range: $100,000 – $250,000+ (Base + Uncapped Commission)
Strong base salary with uncapped earning potential tied directly to sales performance
Company vehicle, fuel card, and full benefits package
Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities: Manage and grow a diverse multi-territory region with a focus on new business development and key account retention
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, farmers, municipalities, and other heavy equipment users
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence
Partner with senior leadership to ensure territory goals and growth targets are met
Regional Sales Manager Qualifications: 5+ years of outside sales experience in heavy equipment, construction equipment, or related industries
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive market
Strong territory management, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel throughout assigned region
