Regional Environmental Health and Safety Manager Join to apply for the Regional Environmental Health and Safety Manager role at UG2 . Our Regional Manager of Environmental Health and Safety will lead our national injury prevention initiatives and oversee risk management programs, policies affecting environmental health and safety for our workforce, clients, and tenants. The individual will identify, evaluate, and analyze work environments to mitigate risks, develop safety training, and reinforce positive behaviors through observations. Ideal candidates will have experience in facilities management, particularly in engineering, mechanical, and janitorial trades. Job Responsibilities Manage employee training and awareness programs. Develop, implement, and coordinate EHS programs across all sites. Investigate work-related injuries and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Conduct internal safety audits to evaluate conformance and effectiveness. Ensure timely filing of Worker’s Compensation claims. Facilitate safety orientations for new sites and employees. Conduct training on procedures, equipment, and quality control techniques. Manage risk management data, including KPIs and incident rates. Oversee UG2's Fleet Management Program. Key Interactions Executive Leadership Corporate EHS Resources Operations Personnel VP of Human Resources Stakeholders: Government and Non-Government Site EHS personnel Risk Consultants Contractors and Subcontractors Key Clients Supervisory Responsibilities No direct reports; provide oversight and support to operations managers and employees. Requirements BA/BS in Safety, Engineering, or related sciences preferred. Knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations. 6+ years of occupational HSE experience, managing multiple sites. Risk assessment and control expertise. Effective communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Fleet Management Programs. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Occupational Health & Safety Certification (ASP, CSP, or CIH) a plus. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Working Conditions Majority travel within California; limited travel to surrounding regions. Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
