A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its growing Commercial Finance & Investment team</strong> in Hartford. This team represents institutional lenders, investors, and property owners in complex transactions across the United States.
Candidate Profile:
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Admission to the Connecticut Bar (or sitting for the July 2025 bar exam) (link removed)>
04 years of substantive transactional experience , with a demonstrated interest in national finance and real estate investment work (link removed)>
Strong drafting experience with loan agreements, joint ventures, and LLC documents is preferred.
Exposure to commercial real estate transactions is highly desirable.
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Prior non-legal experience in finance, investment, or real estate industries is a plus (link removed)>
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in structuring and negotiating commercial finance transactions involving real estate assets.
Draft and review loan documents, joint venture agreements, operating agreements, and related transactional documents (link removed)>
Work closely with partners and clients to execute complex deals across various asset classes and jurisdictions.
Provide practical, business-oriented legal counsel to sophisticated clients.
Compensation & Benefits</strong>
