Radiology Tech/GXMO duties: Perform radiological duties in compliance with x-ray department and legal requirements. Help patients feel comfortable during the entire process. Perform selected nursing and administrative/clerical duties that assist in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management under the direction of a physician. These duties are delegated in relation to the individual‘s degree of training, in accordance with the objectives and policies of the organization and respective state laws governing such action and activities. Will also perform Medical Assistant duties: The position assists the physician in examination of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of the physician. This position also interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height and records information on patients‘ charts, and prepares treatment room for examination of patients. The position will be cross-trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care; work cooperatively within the team concept demonstrating flexibility, motivation and commitment to quality patient care. This position‘s tasks include patient related duties, medical record maintenance/documentation, and safety/environmental duties.
Job Requirements: Radiology Tech school graduation and license in Ohio. or: Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Healthcare with GXMO certification Or Certified MA AND: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) Computer apptitude, CPR certification, EKG, Injections, Venipuncture Performance of common lab tests according to established CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy Prefer experience Clinical Healthcare, experience required if MA
Job Responsibilities:
Performs scans within the scope of licensure/certification and under supervision of provider; update patient record; keep patient calm and comfortable during scan Exhibits professional image and behavior toward patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers and creates a positive impression consistent with professional etiquetee. Follows JCAHO and HIPPA protocols regarding patient information. Maintains the safety and cleanliness of the treatment area. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of clean and sterile procedures in the use of medical equipment. Employee exhibits dependability in areas such as attendance, punctuality and the timely performance of duties. Demonstrates flexibility and/or initiative in seeking or accepting additional assignments. Demonstrates proficiency in assisting with medical procedures on adults and children. Skillfully and accurately adminsters child and adult medications/immunizations.
