The Quality Control Lab Technician I is responsible for evaluating Phenomenex products through analytical testing techniques and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure product quality for customers. This position reports to the Quality Control Manager and is part of the Quality Control located in El Dorado Hills and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Use analytical techniques such as Gas Chromatography (GC) to evaluate products and maintaining a clean, organized, and presentable workspace. Adhere to ISO:9001 guidelines and complete testing assignments as outlined and follow assigned testing and operating instructions while using computer programs for data processing. Compare test results to pass/fail criteria and escalate issues to the department manager while supporting key initiatives and complete assigned training tasks. The essential requirements of the job include: High school diploma required. Comfortable using computer programs such as Microsoft Office. Previous laboratory experience is desired. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Working with analytical testing equipment such as Gas Chromatography. Performing quality control processes in a manufacturing or laboratory setting. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
