Ensure that all test results meet applicable QA specifications. Understand and follow GEA procedures (including health, safety and quality procedures). Prepare Certificate of Analysis. Basic troubleshooting of analytical equipment/instruments. Preventative maintenance of assigned equipment Perform housekeeping, inventory of standards and reagents and proper disposal of lab. Simple statistical data calculations and input data into Excel spreadsheets. Collaborate and work with other departments such as R&D and Production to support the release of finished goods. Your Profile / Qualifications Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environ ment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite A minimum of an associated degree in Chemistry or related scientific field with two years of work experience. Less than 2 years of work experience will be considered with higher education such as a bachelor’s degree with 0 years of related work experience. The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $26 - $33 per hour GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
