We are seeking a PTCB-licensed Pharmacy Technician with strong retail pharmacy experience for an immediate 13-week contract in Clearwater, FL. This role offers a MondayFriday schedule, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a fast placement timeline for candidates ready to start ASAP (or within 1.52 weeks after offer clearance). Key Responsibilities: Process and fill prescriptions accurately Handle insurance adjudications and resolve claim rejections Prepare, package, and label medications for pharmacist verification Perform data entry and manage prescription paperwork Communicate effectively with patients, prescribers, and internal teams Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, restocking, and expiration monitoring Assist with returns, medication quarantines, and medication destruction Cross-train in various pharmacy functions and support team needs Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and insurance regulations Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required (please confirm highest education level during screening) PTCB certification and active Florida pharmacy technician license in good standing Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in retail (call center experience a plus) Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable making phone calls Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment If you are a detail-oriented, proactive pharmacy technician ready for a fast placement, apply now to join a dynamic team in Clearwater!
