Position: Project Manager - Store Planning Full Time/ Direct Hire Hybrid Remote/ On Site in NYC Office Salary: $100- $110k base + discretionary bonus (dependent on experience level)
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager Store Planning to join our team in the luxury fashion retail industry. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end planning, development, and execution of store construction and renovation projects across North America. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, operations, merchandising, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality retail environments that reflect our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead multiple store planning projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and brand guidelines. • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for new store openings, remodels, and special initiatives. • Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to manage project deliverables and resolve issues proactively. • Oversee site assessments, space planning, fixture procurement, and installation processes. • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide regular status updates to leadership. • Ensure all projects comply with regulatory requirements and local building codes. • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing post-project performance and identifying opportunities for process optimization.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field preferred. • Minimum of 5 years' experience in retail store planning or project management within the fashion or luxury retail sector. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively across diverse teams. • Proficiency in project management software (MS Project) and design tools (AutoCAD or similar). • Willingness to travel as needed for site visits and project oversight.
